A close friend of mine surprised me with this beautiful Mabie Todd Swan SM112 in Olive. It looks rather pretty and elegant, don’t you think? I like the olive colour of this green ebonite with the symmetrical black cap and barrel ends (the section matches the design being black as well). The golden accents match the olive material nicely. The clip differs from the usual Swan clip but I like this one even better because it gives the pen a more consistent Art Deco design. I’m going to make a post with close-ups and writing sample soon. For the time being, here are the beauty shots. I enjoyed the photo session and “bonding” with this very special fountain pen. It will always remind me of someone dear to me.
