Earlier this January I saw the new Urushi Studio India Metallic Blue of @katja_pens🔗 and the amazing shades of colour immediately mesmerised me.

The lacquering has a lot of depth and looks like blue, green and brown coloured urushi layers were applied.

The Taccia Sabimidori ink is an absolute match.

Just a few weeks later Vivek (@urushi_studio_india🔗) finished a similarly looking pen.

This one has a similar colour but this time the finishing has a striped effect.

Katja proved to be a successful Urushi Studio India “brand ambassador” because I decided to pull the trigger.
