I love Japanese woodblock prints, the so called Ukiyo-e art. I immediately wanted to have some of the new Taccia Ukiyo-e inks which all come in those pretty boxes. Preferably all of them 😁 It was a painful process to narrow down the list to as few as I feel comfortable with buying.
The inks are:
-
Taccia Ukiyo-e
Hokusai Saibimidori
-
Taccia Ukiyo-e II.
Hiroshige Ainezu
-
Taccia Ukiyo-e
Hokusai Benitsuchi
-
Taccia Ukiyo-e II.
Utamaro Usuzumi
At first glance the Hokusai Saibimidori looks the most exciting. It has an interesting sheen and the ink looks rather distinctive.
What do you think? Which ink looks the most appealing for you?
